Welcome to The Harmony House, a project that seamlessly blends modern practicality with nostalgic charm, designed for a Gordon Weima Enterprise home.

This staircase is a stunning example of a growing trend we anticipate seeing more of in 2025: white wood spindles as a timeless and captivating choice. Paired with a custom railing design, this project features tapered posts and a colonial white oak handrail refined by eliminating the traditional bead detail, creating a clean and elegant finish.

The staircase is crafted with white oak treads featuring a 2-inch front profile, painted open stringers on one side, and painted risers. This design enhances the traditional hardwood staircase with a breathtaking transformation that perfectly balances classic and contemporary styles.

Designed in collaboration with Jessica Gosbee Design, an Ottawa-based boutique interior design and decor studio, The Harmony House is a true testament to thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship, offering a beautifully transformed space for the homeowner.
