This waterfall-style closed riser stair with a floor-to-ceiling glass wall is a statement piece in this open concept and modern home.
The solid white oak treads & risers blend perfectly with the flooring on the main floor. The unique waterfall design eliminates the usual tread overhang seen on most stairs. The tread & riser meet seamlessly together and create an abstract zig-zag pattern when viewing the stair from the side. The stringers and back wall were painted the same colour to accentuate the pattern.
This project’s floor-to-ceiling glass maintains the open concept floor plan. It accentuates the zig-zag pattern and removes bulky hardware from the floor area.
