Introducing Rideau Garden, an award-winning luxury project created for a stunning RND Construction home.
This design features a striking 6” x 6” centered steel stringer paired with 5” x 5” angled tube risers, finished in a soft white for a clean, modern look. The 3” white oak hardwood treads, beautifully stained, add warmth and elegance to the structure. Clear tempered glass panels are attached to the steps with round stainless steel standoffs and secured to the floor with square stainless steel spigots, creating a seamless, open aesthetic.
Completing the design is a 2” x 2” square white oak handrail featuring a groove atop the glass, adding a sophisticated touch to the overall look.
This exceptional collaboration with RND Construction earned the title of Best Custom Urban Home (2,800–3,800 sq. ft.) at the 2024 Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association Housing Awards, showcasing the perfect blend of craftsmanship and design excellence.
